See you my friends
This was the first trip I've gone alone. I say: “gone”, not “been”.
The first people I met were Ivan and Betty in flight from Manila
to Boracay. When we said goodbye before catching the boat I noticed that I was
wrong to try kiss them. She didnt say anything, but he stopped me when I try to
give two kisses. Then, They explained me that it is not common to give kisses
in Philipinnes, only for a close friends, family or between women.
We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon together in Boracay in my first
week and later we ran into in Manila in my last weekend.
My next friends were my classmates and dormmates. Jack, my first
in Boracay, is from Taiwan and the first day, we didn't understand :) I
narrated in this blog the story aboyt 37/57 years...Funny...Now, He said that
he knows the strong accent the spanish people. He has been so cute with me.
When I went away, they wake up to do the traditional last picture (Arial: I am waiting haha) and they came to say goodbye to the port. It was weird for me to say goodbye without giving kisses, but by that time I have already known the customs of the Asian people...
I was thinking during the flight to Manila to meet my friends in Manila, Ivan and Betty: Asians do not give kisses but they give a lot of love! :) I love them.

There were also a group of Spanish and francé Lui. In the first
week, we went a several beaches and places together. Luis introduced me in the
island and Xavi taught me how to handle myself in the Talipapa (the local
market).
The second week my brave roommate Arial, who didn’t speak nothing
in English, and another Taiwanese girl came. They and Jack have been very good
friends for me.
The rest of weeks, I also spent with my colleagues from Korea and
Taiwan, although with classmates from China and Japan. I have enjoyed a lot
moment with Rica and Linda.
I don't say names because I've shared with everybody something:
trekking, beach, water sports, classes, meals, drinking, dancking.... We have
lived in a beatiful community, where for get along it was not important
nationality or age, only hobbies or tastes.... That is great! Thanks to
each of you with whom I have shared beautiful moments.
They picked me up at the airport, they made me a touristy route of Manila and Quezon City, they helped me with the hotel, they taught me their usual places, and they took me to the airport. Now, the farewell was different than the first day.
Thanks a lot for the love! I always remember you :)
Kelly, 25 years old
